About Bearhawk Studio
At Bearhawk Studio, we design and build custom furniture, interiors, and architectural millwork for homeowners, businesses, designers, and builders throughout Knoxville and East Tennessee. From heirloom dining tables and custom built-ins to feature walls, home offices, commercial interiors, and one-of-a-kind installations, every project is created specifically for the people and spaces it serves. We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern digital fabrication—including CNC precision, metalworking, and fine woodworking—to deliver exceptional quality without compromising creativity. Whether you’re starting with a detailed vision or simply an idea you can’t quite put into words, we collaborate closely throughout the process to create something that feels intentional, functions beautifully, and stands the test of time. Some of our favorite projects begin with the words, “I’m not sure if this is even possible…” That’s where Bearhawk Studio does its best work.
About the Owner
I’m Dustin, founder of Bearhawk Studio.
Before opening my shop, I spent ten years in law enforcement and more than a decade leading a global technology company. Those experiences shaped the way I approach every project today.
I started Bearhawk Studio to create the kind of projects that can’t be pulled from a catalog. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern fabrication, I enjoy helping clients turn ambitious ideas into one-of-a-kind pieces and spaces.
Whether it’s a custom dining table, architectural millwork, a built-in library, or an entire room transformation, every project begins by understanding how the space will be used. My goal is to design thoughtfully, build exceptionally, and create something you’ll be proud to live with for decades.
Our Values
Built with Care
Every piece we make is built for a specific space and purpose. That means choosing the right materials, balancing form and function, and dialing in the unique details that make it yours.
Purpose Driven
We believe great designs can still solve real world problems. Every piece starts with assessing your needs and space.
If somethings not a good idea? We'll say so. That's what partners do.
Tells a Story
We build with intention – for the people, the spaces, and stories that matter. Each project is a chance to create something meaningful for the client and the craft. We tell those stories through the work, and sometimes through the camera lens.
